How to deal with children’s fears?

Children’s fears at school

Children’s fears at school? Children shouldn’t be afraid of school, and if fears do show up, the Earfs are here to help. Did you know that every child has fears? Children’s fears can be packaged in uncertainty, anger, doubt, sadness, shyness, and more. Most of the time one may not really know how and what one actually feels, as feelings can change incredibly quickly. One thing is for sure, each one of us carries a world of emotions within that can throw us around like on a roller coaster ride.

Recognize children’s fears & solve conflicts

Children’s fears come in many colours. Sometimes we can simply brush unwanted feelings aside, but that is not a long-term solution. It‘s much better to be courageous and brave and get to know them.   That is why I invite you to explore your emotional world with the Earfs. The Earfs are a family of fun, colourful, and time-traveling characters that will travel with you into your emotional world and be at your side through thick and thin. Together we will master school topics and strengthen your concentration. We will learn to control your outbursts of anger and find more self-confidence. Yes, each one of us carries a world of emotions within, and it is pretty earf’some cool indeed! Let’s say good bye to children’s fears.

Children’s fears: How can the Earfs help?

The Earfs support you in resolving conflicts and to communicate your own opinions. They help you find a solution yourself and deal with all your feelings. Anxiety about school is a common topic that should be examined more closely. To help, you first have to find out where the fear comes from. Is the fear directly related to school? Does a child feel overwhelmed and not recognized? Does the child not feel appreciated by classmates or teachers?

Tools for parents, teacher and therapists!

As a mother, you can playfully approach the topic by using children’s books and card games. Spending time together, playing and laughing promotes the relationship with your child. The child feels seen and respected. This is the best foundation for the child to open up and start talking about their children’s fears and problems. Nobody likes to talk about their feelings and especially not revealing their vulnerability. That was exactly why I, a mother of two boys, created the Earf’World. I asked myself: ’How can I deal with my children’s fears and transform them into self-confidence? I need some creative tools!’ Everything is easier when approached in a playful manner. Hence I am excited to introduce you to two great card games, my two boys and me created:
